An invite-only partner mainnet from a proof-based privacy network began operating on Oct. 26, 2026, open to launch partners and invited users. Partners and invited users can now move real assets on it.

How it works

The network is reached through Bread, its self-custodial wallet for phones and Chrome. Bread hides balances and activity by default. Early-access codes go out in waves from Oct. 26. Anyone holding a code counts as a partner. Users can hold, send and receive supported assets. They can also move assets to other networks and swap where pairs exist.

The user’s device executes each transaction and makes a zero-knowledge proof. The network verifies the proof before recording the update. For private accounts, the chain stores cryptographic commitments. The private state itself stays unpublished. The proofs are STARKs, which rely only on hash functions. Most transactions can be proved on a phone in under three seconds.

Guardians back up and synchronize private account state. Users can recover an account on another device. Four operators run Guardians at launch. That role is separate from guarding private keys. Bread uses an everyday key, a recovery key and a Guardian key. Access never rests on one key.

A private multisig hides balances, signers and signing rules. Teams can require extra signers for larger amounts. The multisig supports ECDSA and Falcon signatures. Asset callbacks let issuers run code when an asset moves. They can enforce freezes or transfer limits without exposing holder accounts.

A protocol-level exchange sits inside Bread. Teams building there include a business banking app and a payments service. Others build an exchange and a name service.

Why it matters

Validators hold encrypted transaction data as an extra safeguard in this phase. No single validator can decrypt it. Swaps are public in this phase. Private-to-private transfers reveal the least.

Partner mainnet is temporary. Participants withdraw funds before a reset for public mainnet. The public phase moves to a Blake3-based hash. It also brings full zero-knowledge block proofs.

Supported assets can also move to other networks, and swaps are available wherever trading pairs exist.

The partner phase gives invited users a chance to use private accounts with real assets while the network prepares for public mainnet.

Background

Miden began in 2020 as a research virtual machine for proofs. It became an independent company in 2025. One security firm audited the Miden VM. Another audited its transaction kernel.

A public ledger payment can expose a sender’s balance and history. This phase puts private accounts to work with real assets.

Privacy upgrades like this are a regular topic for the Doginal Dogs community and on CSN, the Crypto Spaces Network.
